About

ABOUT

I'm a Floridian turned expat, turned NYC-transplant. In our increasingly complex world, we need flexible strategists who understand how intersectionality affects our lives.

In both my academic and professional experiences, I've worked at the intersections of: resource governance, conflict, climate, social justice, international development, transparency, and security. I strive to make complex information accessible and actionable for meaningful policy change and strategic guidance. After years of consulting and writing experiences, I founded the not-for-profit, Impact Human, in 2015. Impact Human uses photography, interviews, and policy research to educate the public on human rights and environmental injustices faced by communities coping with climate change and pollution.

I have the privilege to impart my intersectional environmental, political, and economics experiences as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Pratt Institute's Graduate Center for Planning and the Environment, where I teach Environmental Economics for the MS in Sustainable Environmental Systems. I'm also a Senior Fellow, Planetary Politics at New America; where I'm contributing towards just energy transition solutions.

Currently available for writing and speaking engagements, and seeking a literary agent.

PUBLICATIONS

I've written op-eds and policy deep-dives on climate and foreign policy issues for publications ranging from: LSE Ideas, The Global Policy Journal, Policy Mic, and the World Politics Review. I've also written and consulted on policy reports and explainers for clients ranging from: Dalberg Research, CDP, E3G, Sustain.Life, Oil Change International, DFID, the World Bank, and others.

Currently seeking a literary agent and publisher for a forthcoming book.
